Sister Kennedy Findlay Brazil Ribeirão Preto & Arizona Gilbert Mission 2021-2022

  Olá!!!  It's a new week and a new email!!!  So last week was transfers and first off, I STAYED WITH SISTER ANDRADE!!!  WAHOO!  And second, I got transferred...kind of.  I am in the same zone but I moved to our other area.  We were covering 2 areas, Boa Vista (which is in Araçatuba) and Pérola (which is in Birigui) but now we are only covering 1, which I am happy about.  So anyway, Sister Andrade and I moved to Pérola!  And we are really excited!! The ward is really good and they have already helped us out a bunch!  The area is also really good!  The only hard thing, is that we didn't have very many people to teach here in Pérola.  So this last week, we pretty much were starting from scratch.  This week was alllll about contacting!  And let me tell ya, we made a bunch of contacts!! So we are really looking forward to this week to start teaching more people! Our apartment that we are living in, is NASTY!  Elders ...

  Booaaaaa tardeeee tudo!  Como vocês estão? This week was really good because I HAD MY FIRST BAPTISM!!!  Wahoo!!  The baptism was on Saturday and then he was confirmed on Sunday!   It's actually kind of a miracle that he was able to hear the gospel, accept the gospel, and be baptized!  So I am really grateful that he had this chance! Other than the baptism, I had another day of traveling this week.  We had interviews with President in Rio Preto, which is like 2 hours away.  So we left at 6 am and arrived about 8:30 am.  We had interviews and a district counsel, ate lunch, and we were delayed a bit so we didn't leave until like 4 pm.  And we didn't get back to our area until like 7:15 pm.  So it was kind of another long day of traveling but it was fun!  The whole zone was together in the van so it was really fun!  Haha!
