Trials of faith

Oi gente!!  How is everyone doing?  Happy Valentine's Day!!   I don't have much for this week...it was another hard week.  Lots of people rejecting us, so we don't have many people we are teaching.  It's been a little hard because I don't know what to do.  As I was talking to my companions about this, the only thing I could think of is that this is a trial of faith!  And the only thing to do is just keep going.  That got me thinking a bit and really pondering about why we have trials of faith.  It is literally to test us to see if we have the strength to keep going and get to see the miracles. I have been praying a lot about getting through these hard days.  I was reading in Moroni chapter 7, and verse 37 said, "it is by faith that miracles are wrought."  THIS LITERALLY WAS AN ANSWER TO PRAYER!  I thought that seriously, the only way to strengthen our faith and see miracles is to exercise our faith!   And ...

Just have FAITH!

Oooi!!  Hello everyone!  What's happening?!  How was everyone's week? There isn't too much I remember from this week lol!  But there are still some things I remember!  First thing, we had a zone conference in Rio Preto!!  That was an early morning...we got up at like 4:45am and got back to our area at like 6:30pm.   But, zone conference was so good!!  The thing I learned the most was about faith!  The APs gave a training about faith and how we just need to keep going!  We can't lose our focus on the things we want and our goals that we want to happen!  Having faith is to try our absolute best and give it our all and the Lord will make up the rest through His grace and mercy!   This is one thing I absolutely love in the gospel and my mission has definitely strengthened my testimony about faith!  I have had so many experiences where exercising my faith has helped me see more miracles in my life and the life ...

Hermana Findlay?!

Olá todo mundo!!  How is everyone doing!?  This week was just a normal week.  So this email will be a little short. So let's get started...honestly this week was a little bit of  bummer.  Almost everyone we are teaching and talking to is sick, and other people either rejected us, hung up on us, or didn't answer.  Seriously.  I felt like all week it was just one person after the other. But on the good side, we found a family that we have taught the first lesson to!  They are from Venezuela, so for that lesson I was Hermana Findlay lol!!  But this family was sooo cool!!  They were so nice!  And they even gave us cake and orange juice haha!!  We are really hoping that we can teach them more!  They seemed really interested and were really open to accept the Book of Mormon! And this coming Saturday we will have a baptism!  We have worked hard with him these last few weeks, so really this week is THE WEEK!!  Her...
