Sister Kennedy Findlay Brazil Ribeirão Preto & Arizona Gilbert Mission 2021-2022

  Hello! Happy Monday!  Today is a happy Monday for me! Today is transfer day and not going to lie, I'm excited for transfers!  I was having a rough transfer, so I am excited for a change.  So here is the news... I got transferred to a place called Jardinópolis, close to Ribeirão Preto.  And I'm an STL, a sister training leader!!  So that's something new and I'm super excited! This last week was rough but there were a few good things that happened. First thing, we had someone pay for our lunch one day!  It was actually someone that I had talked to in my old area that lives in this area.  And he paid for our lunch!  So that was a little tender mercy.  It was a day that I had a rough start.  So when he paid for our lunch, I felt a little better.  But, our order number was 14!  And if you know the Findlay family, we love the number 14.  And it was an even bigger tender mercy because last week my grandpa passed away....

  Bom diaaa!! Well this week was pretty boring...but filled with lots of spiritual experiences for me! My companion was sick for the entire week. 😢😢 Monday at the end of pday we went to the emergency room and thought that she would be fine after a few days.  But she wasn't getting better so Friday we were back at the emergency room.  This time they were able to find out what was going on.  She still wasn't feeling all that great this weekend but today she's feeling so much better and we are back to normal work, I hope so!  One day this week, some members brought us some soup for my companion to eat.  And she made sooo much!!  My companion says she doesn't even like soup so I've been the one to eat it. I've been eating soup for daysss...and we still have some! Lol!! So this week I was calling people and doing things by myself every day.  I honestly didn't really know what to do with my time haha because I had so much time with so little to do. So...

  Hey everyone, how's it going?! Sorry I haven't sent out an email for a bit.  Things are a bit difficult and hard, so it's been hard getting to write an email.  But before I start, I wanted to give a shout out to my Grandpa Jack.  If you know my Grandpa Jack, you know that he loves oranges.  And the city/town I'm in right now has an orange juice factory, so it always smells like oranges!  It makes me think of you Grandpa Jack! But anyway!  These last few weeks, me and my companion have been trying to get the work started in our area.  It's been a couple of years since missionaries have been here, since before the pandemic.  So we are basically started from ground 0 here!  It's been difficult here for a couple of reasons, but all I can do is do the best I can.
