FELIZ NATAL! Pt 2

Hello everyone!!  How's it going?  How was everyone's Christmas?!

Christmas here was different...got to be honest wasn't the best Christmas.  But there were a few things that were fun!
Christmas Eve we went over to the other sisters house and all had a big dinner together!  Then we had a little Christmas devotional with our zone over WhatsApp facetime!  And then we spent the night there and walked back to our apartment Christmas morning.  Then pretty much the whole day of Christmas we spent in our apartment talking to our families!
Which of course...was the BEST part of the day!!
Then later that night we had a Christmas devotional as a mission on zoom.
It was good!  My mission president's wife, Sister Santos, talked about something that really made me think.  She started talking about the 3 Wiseman's Gifts to the Savior when he was born.  And then she asked us a question..."What gift would you bring to give to the Savior?"
A few people had answered and here were a few things that they said...
-time
-my heart
-really anything!
I had thought about it and my gift would be my heart.  It made me think of the phrase that I learned from an Elder in my MTC district.  "Christ died so we can live, so we should live for Christ."  Which, I know Christmas is all about the birth of our Savior, but the last part of the phrase...talking about how we should live for Christ is what I thought of.  Giving it our all, our WHOLE HEART!  So, my WHOLE HEART would be my gift to the Savior.
Anyway, our devotional ended just in time for us to have one lesson that night!
Our lesson was with a girl who we have on date for baptism, which we set this week!  It's actually been the easiest thing teaching her and setting a date.  Literally, all we had to do is set a date with her.  She is basically already a member and she's actually had a desire to be baptized, so seriously we just had to set a date with her, and pretty much everyday we have been teaching her the lessons.  She is 12 years old, and she is the only one in her family that we are teaching.  Her family has no interest in hearing the discussions, but support her in everything with the church.  Her uncle and cousins are members so that's how she knows about the church.  Anyway, so her baptism will be next Monday!!
Anyway I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS!!
This is all I got for today!  Love you all!  Miss you all!
