The Best Week!!

 Olá!

Wow another week has gone by!  Crazy!
This week was AMAZING!  On Thursday we had to travel to Ribeirão Preto for a mission tour with the area president, President Parrela. The day started at 3:45 am for me and my comp.
We got up and had to be totally ready for the day because the van to take us to Ribeirão was going to be at our house at 5 am.  We were the first ones to be picked up because we are the furthest away.  So at 5 the van came, and then we picked up some other sisters, and then drove to Rio Preto which is about 2-2.5 hours away.  Here we picked up 2 more sets of sisters and then we were finally on our way to Ribeirão.  All in all, we didn't get to Ribeirão until like 10:30 or 11 am.  So it was a longgggg morning!
When we got there, we had some extra time before lunch so we did a scripture study with our mission president.  He talked about the "padrão da felicidade" or the "manner of happiness" in 2 Nephi 5:27.  We talked about how even though we have trials and we go through hard times, we can still be happy and continue on, smiling!  God wants us to be happy!
Then we had lunch and the food was absolutely AMAZING!!  I hadn't eaten much that morning.  Funny story actually...that morning I was trying to make some eggs.  I got everything all ready and then went to turn on the stove.  And guess what...there wasn't any gas!  It was so sad haha because I was all ready to cook my eggs and then NOTHING lol!  We have gas now, but for a couple of days we couldn't use our stove or oven.
Anyway after lunch we did another scripture study with President Parrela and we read some scriptures about the Atonement of Jesus Christ.  Jesus Christ suffered for each and every single one of us!  And He did it all out of LOVE!
Then we had some activities and we learned a LOT!!  And we did some practices about inviting someone to read the Book of Mormon and inviting someone to be baptized.  And then President Parrela asked a question, "in one word, what is something that you learned today?"
My word was "milagres!" (Miracles).  So I learned that if we try our hardest and put the Lord first in everything we do, MILAGRES will happen!!!
After everything...I got to have an interview with President Parrela. And let me tell you, this was the BEST INTERVIEW I HAVE EVER HAD!  It was so spiritual and I heard things that I really needed and honestly didn't really know I needed!  All in all, with the things he told me, my testimony was strengthened about divine potential!  I know that Heavenly Father looks out for each of His children!  I know that He KNOWS each of his children by name!  And I know that we each have a divine potential!
And then...after everything was over, we traveled back to Araçatuba!  We left at about 8 pm and didn't get back until like 1 am the next morning!!  My day started at 3:45 am on Thursday and then ended at 1 am on Friday!!
Well this email was only about one day, but Thursday, and honestly, this week has been the best week I have had in the mission!
Eu amo muito vocês!!  I love you all and miss you!  I hope everyone is doing well!  Would love to hear from you guys!
