Well this is it...the last week!
Opa!! Tudo bem com vocês?
I hope everyone has had an amazing week! I sure have, it's been superrr busy and exciting! But writing this email is a bit sentimental for me. I'm starting my last week as a missionary! Cannot believe how fast this time has flown by.
To start, I'll explain a little about this last week, and what's coming for this next week. Pday we had as a zone which was super exciting haha! We watched the Brazil game again and they won...AGAIN!! 1-0! After the game we played some uno and volleyball, and just hung out!
The rest of the week, we had interviews with President so we had district counsel in person. Then we had exchanges with the other set of Sisters that we are over. Exchanges were super fun! We got açaí--of course, I have to get all the açaí I can before I go home! I'm gonna miss it lol. And we got some pizza which was super yummy!
I was with two new Sisters, this transfer is their first, so it was fun to be able to help them with any questions or things that they wanted to learn. We had a lot of fun, laughed a lot, and worked a lot!
The rest of this weekend was busy with teaching our friend who will be baptized this coming week! Wahooooo!! And then we set another date for the 23rd!!! I'm excited we set the date, but sad that I won't be here to be at the baptism.
So yeah that's pretty much it for this week. This coming week will be even busier! Today we have a Sisters pday and we are doing a bunch of activities! We did a little Christmas program at a care center and then did a bunch of little Christmas activities!
But for this next coming week, it's gonna be crazy!! I have all of the final activities with President...my final interview with President, and lunch with President, and everything. And we will have the baptism on Friday...literally so crazy that this week will fly by!
But I wanted to say a few things that I learned on my mission.
This first thing is that God loves me. He loves all of us! He has a plan for us and everything happens for a reason. Jesus Christ is the center of His plan and when we focus on Him, everything becomes better!
Another thing is that true joy comes from the blessings of the gospel! I have received so many blessings and have seen people be happy from accepting the gospel! I am just so grateful for this chance I have had to serve a mission and to be able to see all the miracles I was able to witness. Our Heavenly Father is a God of miracles. If we look for them, we will see many miracles in our lives!
I know the gospel is true, and I know the church is true. I know Christ lives and is our Savior!
I love you all! Thank you for all your support. Thank you to those who had sent emails to me a few times, those really made my day. ❤️
And for the last time signing off...
Sister Findlay
